You know, I can understand why everyone kinda freaked out over the season premier but I really loved it! I liked the angels/Lucifer dynamic not only because Lucifer looks set to be a cool character but also because it means Sam and Dean have common enemies again. They're not fighting against each other.
Yes, there was that whole 'I don't trust you' thing but it was a long time coming and it's likely going to be a long time fixing it. I have a feeling Dean will redirect that mistrust into internal guilt anyway, and as for Sam - Sam will always look up to Dean and want his big brother back <3 I SEE A LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL YOU GUYS. Be patient!
